Hi, I edited the page Global Closure Systems as I'm in charge of the communciation for the company. I did not advertise anything. On the contrary I corrected published information that are not correct. GCS has 21 factories. Not 26. GCS is not only producing closures for beverage containers. But for 6 specific markets. More, the group doesn't operate under various brand names, including Astra Plastique, Bender, Massmould, Obrist, UCP and Zeller Plastik but operate through its 6 historic brands. Please, consider the page I edited before. Many thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ClaireDavaine (talkcontribs) 10:59, 20 May 2015‎ UTC

Hi. I read over the edits. I think the objection to your edits was based on tone, not content. Although not particularly promotional compared to other stuff out there, your edits did not fit with the strictly neutral tone we try to maintain for Wikipedia articles. I have to agree with the revert. That being said, if you want to post a reliable source backing up your changes, I (or someone else) can correct the information. Alternatively, you can make the changes yourself, but anything that does not have the right tone for an encyclopedia will probably get reverted. Thank you for clearly disclosing your connection to the company, it will help make things clearer. Hope that helps! Happy Squirrel(Please let me know how to improve!) 16:20, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, many thanks for replying to me. I do understand you want to keep a strictly neutral tone. However, information are still not corret. Maybe could you help me to turn the following GCS company profile into the right tone?

With a consolidated revenue of €591 million in 2014 and approximately 3 500 employees, Global Closure Systems is one of the world’s largest providers of closure solutions for the FMCG market. Thanks to its 21 production sites strategically located in 13 countries all around the world GCS manufactures close to 40 billion plastic and metal closures per annum. GCS offers over 2 700 designs of standard and custom closures and dispensing systems for the global beverage, food, health care, household & industry, personal care, and wine & spirits markets.

Just no. That's a press release, not an encyclopedic article. It has no sources, is laden with peacock terms and happens to be ripped off from the company's LinkedIn profile. It's not even a suitable source for Wikipedia, let alone a starting point for an article. If you want information - not promotional blurb - in the article, then provide reliable third-party sources that state that information. Without such sources, nothing you provide is going to go onto the article page. Yunshui  11:30, 27 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for having update the 21 factories. I'm very sorry you think the GCS company profile above is laden of peacock terms - which I disagree with but anyway. All information are comming from the GCS website. Maybe not a suitable source? Let me know. I'm also sorry to insist but the article is still not correct - which is a shame for an encyclopedic article. GCS is not only producing closures for beverage containers. But for 6 specific markets. It's not a promotional blurb, just a fact. More, the group doesn't operate under "various brand names, including Astra Plastique, Bender, Massmould, Obrist, UCP and Zeller Plastik" but operates through its 6 historic brands. It's not a promotional blurb, just a piece of history. Please, consider these comments. Many thanks.
