Diamond lights[edit]

Can someone add something about his music career? Him and Chris Waddle produced a single when they were at the top of their popularity. It did well in the charts. Maybe even number 1. They appeared on Top of the Pops.

Ha ha ha! Number 1 - it wasn't that good. Anyway yes i've added it in as i've also just created an article for the single - it deserved to have one. Music of that quality never dies. It got to a scary number 12 in the charts if you must know. extraordinary (talk) 17:06, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]


Please Explain[edit]

FTA: According to one BBC poll, 90% of respondents believed Hoddle should not continue as English coach.[9] However, public opinion was very divided, as a BBC survey showed - while many considered his comments insensitive to the disabled, others defended his right to express his religious beliefs, claiming that to sack him would constitute religious discrimination, and pointing out that similar views are held in major world religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism.[10]

1984 Uefa Cup[edit]

As Hoddle didn't play in the final I have changed the link to the 1983/84 UEFA Cup page as opposed to the 1984 Final. I also changed the word Community back to Charity as it was known as this in the seasons Hoddle competed.Statto74 (talk) 08:21, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

England dismissal - essential for lead[edit]

In case anyone tries to remove it, Hoddle's England dismissal should definitely be in the lead with the citation. England football manager is probably the most public job in the whole country apart from the prime minister, and his comments and his dismissal obviously caused a huge media interest. It would be whitewashing to not say this is in the lead, just like you have to include in a lead that Allardyce resigned because of alleged corruption, that Ron Atkinson got sacked for saying that word on live TV, and that there is a particular reason why Adam Johnson doesn't play anymore — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C5:E187:5F00:4C0B:2146:DF01:2212 (talk) 23:44, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
