Almost incomprehensible[edit]

Is this a joke? This article reads like a random page from a Thomas Pynchon novel. It's virtually information-free. When was Amalteo born? When did he die? Where did he live? Who were his parents? If he was notable for his artwork, was he an artist? Who employed or sponsored him? What are his most well-known works? What's his life story? Not only is none of this elementary stuff present, but the little info there is has to be dug out of a bunch of run-on sentences. Give me a break. --Chetvorno^TALK 06:09, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
