Residence Incorrect?[edit]

The residence is listed as Gylen Castle. How could Gilleain na Tauighe, who "flourished around. . .1250," have lived there if that castle wasn't built until 1587, two centuries after his lifetime? Is it possible that there was some type of residence/stronghold at the site of Gylen Castle in Gilleain's lifetime? Or is it more likely that there was an earlier Gylen Castle on the Isle of Lisemore, since Isle of Lisemore was Gilleain's home?--Mclean.kane (talk) 03:29, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like the bulk of these Maclean chieftain articles are copy-and-paste jobs from John Patterson MacLean's out-of-copyright books on GoogleBooks. If you've got better sources be bold and update/correct/re-write the articles.--Celtus (talk) 08:52, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Move[edit]

Why move Gilleain na Tuaighe to Gillean of the Battle Axe? Is there any evidence that the latter is more common than the former? --PBS (talk) 10:16, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
