Untitled[edit]

It seems to me that this Gilbert Harrison and Gilbert Harrison (philatelist) are one and the same. It would be too much of a coincidence if their dates of birth and death were identical. One is said to have died at Ferriby and the other at Sculcoates - these two places are very close together. Does anyone else have conclusive information? Page move[edit]

Didn't he play rugby in pre-schism times, before rugby union and rugby league?Fleets (talk) 18:36, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Fleets:, did the move based on the fact that the article states that he played rugby union. If this was not the case then I'm happy to move back to (rugby) unless there is consensus for disambiguation before the schism. But the player seems to be described as a rugby union player now. I think it may be a question for the people at WPRU, as they would be more knowledgeable than I on the subject of rugby union in its earliest days.Fleets (talk) 21:20, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Happy to ask the question on there. I use it quite a lot. Participation has been minimal recently. Rugbyfan22 (talk) 21:27, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
