So... his father, the 3rd Baron Daresbury (nephew, grandson, and great-grandson of men named "Gilbert Greenall"), was "Edward Gilbert Greenall", and the son and heir, the now-4th Baron Daresbury, was named "Peter Gilbert Greenall", OK, fine... then the second son, born a year later, is named... "Gilbert Greenall"? Does... he have a first name he doesn't use? It'd make sense if "Gilbert" was almost used as part of an unofficial compound surname (it isn't; the third son is apparently "John Edward Greenall"), or something, but it's less common for a guy to have his father and elder brother's middle name as a first name, even if the reason THEY have the name is several other previous people of that name.
