This image's description page says it is from Life Magazine, yet the license is Creative Commons BY-SA

Hey everyone. Sorry to rain on the parade, but I don't understand how this image can be published by Life Magazine AND be licensed under Creative Commons BY-SA. Doesn't Life Magazine hold the copyright? Was this image incorrectly tagged? I am tempted put the old image back up for the time being and ask the folks at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions what to do. Regards. Braincricket (talk) 10:27, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I brought up the question here. Braincricket (talk) 10:49, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Momo has to be the actual photographer, and have retained his rights, and be willing to license this photo under one of our acceptable licenses. With all due good faith, I am skeptical about this, based on my lifelong experience with both professional photographers and magazine publishers. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:22, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How old is Georgia Salpa?[edit]

I thought I'd add a few words here since there has been some lively editing lately regarding her age. Facts presented on Wikipedia, especially those pertaining to a living person, must be verifiable by reliable sources. In other words, other editors and readers should be able to click on a link or go to a library to independently confirm that information presented in the article is true. Respectfully, it really doesn't matter that you know in your heart of hearts that she is 26. You must be able to cite reliable sources to support whatever statement you make about her age and birthday. This article from the Daily Mail states that she is 27; based on the publication date you can infer that her birthday is 14 May 1985. The Irish Sun states that she was 27 as of 1 June 2012. Additional articles in The Daily Mail, The Evening Herald, and Independent Woman mention her age and imply that she was born between 1 May 1985 and 8 August 1985. Please don't change her age or birthday without citing a source to back it up. Wikipedia:Citing sources might be a good resource. Regards. Braincricket (talk) 20:54, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A thought: WP:SYNTH states "Do not combine material from multiple sources to reach or imply a conclusion not explicitly stated by any of the sources." I'm not sure where that leaves my argument. At any rate, none of the sources confirm that she was born in 1986. Braincricket (talk) 21:04, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Another thought: The Daily Mail, The Sun, and The Evening Herald are all tabloids, which are not reliable sources, according to WP:BLPSOURCES. Braincricket (talk) 03:19, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
