Lead section too long[edit]

I've expanded the Life section, and will add paragraphs with more detail on specific areas of his work. When I've done that I think the lead section will be OK, and I'll delete that tag. Kognos (talk) 14:26, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the sections on specific research topics. I also removed the last sentence of the lead paragraph. Bactericidal properties of blood is covered by mechanisms of immunity, and I can't find any references to work by Nuttall on the importance of bacterial bacteria. The section on published works is a bit problematic. These should probably be covered in the main text and cited in the reference section rather than listed here, but the 1903 and 1912 items seem to be erroneous.Kognos (talk) 17:13, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm removing the published works section as most of these are now referenced in the main text with citations. Two exceptions:
  • Nuttall, G. H. F. ( 1912), Russian Ixodoidea. Bull. Soc. Méd. Exotique, Paris, v.120–122. (Critical remarks and corrections relating to a paper by Yakimoff, Winogradoff and Kohl-Yakimoff. Bull. Soc. Méd. Exotique, Paris, v. pp. 34-41.)
  • Nuttall, G. H. F. 1913, The Training and Status of Public Health Officers in the United Kingdom. U.S. Government Printing Office
I can't find full-text for either of these items, nor any indication that they have been cited, suggesting that these are not important publications. f anyone has more information on these items, please contribute. Kognos (talk) 04:27, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
