Nickname error on George Derby[edit]

George Derby's nickname was NOT Johan. In fact he had only a sort of nickname, Jonah, because his pitching record was not that good. Many players who had bad luck in that era were refered to as "Jonahs." Yes, as swallowed by the biblical whale. If someone wants a "nickname" there then it has to be "Jonah," but certainly NOT Johan, that's absurd. Also George was born in Webster, MA, my hometown, which is why know about him, BUT his family soon moved to Wellsboro, PA, and that's where he lived his entire life when not playing baseball. He married there and had children, but when he became very ill, he was sent to a hospital in Philadelphia. Hence the place of his death. You will notice that he is buried with most of his family in Wellsboro Cemetery.
