Anecdote from behind the scenes[edit]

I am quoting from a 1969 TV GUIDE article----about a behind-the-scenes report on ANNE OF THE THOUSAND DAYS.

"For a girl,Miss Bujold has the appetite of a lumberjack. A huge steak and potatoes quickly disappeared. But she paused before pouncing on a dish of spring onions".

"Are you eating these?",she asked Richard Burton. "We've got a love scene next".

Burton said--"Let's both eat them. Then the kiss we share in the ballroom will not only be beautiful, but oniony!" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.23.5.11 (talk) 13:17, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It was interesting to me, and I think this could be nice to be added to the article, or to wikiquotes (and to point there from the article), if it can be properly sourced.
Also to the Anonimous author I am responding to: If you create a username at WP, and use it while editing, you would not only be credited for your contributions, but also be notified about any response (like this). You probably already have much better idea where to search for that TV Guide article than me (at the moment I couldn't find it). --Marjan Tomki SI (talk) 12:48, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Adding list of accolades to infobox[edit]

I see she was nominated for Academy Award for Best Actress, was voted actress of the year in Montreal (1964?), won the Prix Suzanne as the Discovery of the Year (1966?), Emmy nomination (1967?), Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama and a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress (for role of Anne Boleyn in Anne of the Thousand Days, 1969?), several Best Actress and at least one Best Supporting Actress Award at the Canadian Film Awards.

I haven't much experience with infobox editing, but I think list of awards would be welcome there for a casual reader to see; more detalis when and for what is already pretty well covered (and sourced) in the article, but that list would help such a reader get interested for that. I don't currently have time to verify (dates of awards etc.), so if anyone else is interested and can do it, (s)he is welcome. --Marjan Tomki SI (talk) 12:48, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
