RE: performing in the US[edit]

Regarding the sentence, "Despite and ever since Stan Rogers' death on 2 June 1983 (just a few weeks before Stan, Garnet and bass player Jim Morrison were to tour America for the first time), Garnet Rogers has pursued his own career". I saw Stan and Garnet perform at a church in West Philadelphia not long before Stan's death. I think the year was 1982. My impression then was that it was not a lone performance but part of a tour. I saw Stan and Garnet several times at The Ark coffeehouse in Ann Arbor, MI in the early 80's. I remember seeing at least 2 different bass players. Stan was already well known in US folk circles before his death in the Cincinnati plane fire.
