Added some detail to the instrument list. I don't think the resonator Garnet usually plays is a National but I'll have to check that out next time I see him. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.161.201.201 (talk) 23:08, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

RE: performing in the US[edit]

Regarding the sentence, "Despite and ever since Stan Rogers' death on 2 June 1983 (just a few weeks before Stan, Garnet and bass player Jim Morrison were to tour America for the first time), Garnet Rogers has pursued his own career". I saw Stan and Garnet perform at a church in West Philadelphia not long before Stan's death. I think the year was 1982. My impression then was that it was not a lone performance but part of a tour. Unfortunately, I don't have a source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Allisonmaya (talkcontribs) 20:41, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I saw Stan and Garnet several times at The Ark coffeehouse in Ann Arbor, MI in the early 80's. I remember seeing at least 2 different bass players. Stan was already well known in US folk circles before his death in the Cincinnati plane fire. I still think of Stan every time I hear a flight attendant say "no smoking in the lavatories." 199.168.151.166 (talk) 14:22, 9 June 2015 (UTC) Michael.[reply]

See also: why list Lightfoot and Orbison[edit]

There is no apparent reason to list Gordon Lightfoot and Roy Orbison under "see also". Their wiki-pages don't mention Rogers.

If there is a connection, why not write a paragraph about it here on Rogers' page?
