According to Reuven Immanueli Immanuel HaReuveni's gazetteer, Gan Or was established in 1980–1983 by Gar'in Nahal members. This contradicts the article, which is unsourced. Does anyone have more info? -- Ynhockey (Talk) 10:17, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've never heard of Immanueli, but the information comes from the Gush Katif website here. One day, I'll probably buy the new Hagi Hoberman book about the history of the settlement movement and add more sources to articles. --Shuki (talk) 13:07, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
LOL I meant Immanuel HaReuveni, sorry! (it was an accident). He's a geographer. Anyway, I'll add the Gush Katif website as a source, and will also wait for input from Nudve. If you get the book, please don't forget about this article! Cheers, Ynhockey (Talk) 20:19, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Mapa says it was founded in 1980 by graduates of the Bnei Akiva and hesder yeshivas, originally in Netzarim and moved to the final location in 1983. The MFA says pretty much the same thing. -- Nudve (talk) 04:58, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have added the information. Can you please add the ref? Thanks, Ynhockey (Talk) 09:47, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
