It is helpful to keep the biochemical use of GHRPs as ligands for receptor identification separate from the clinical discussion on growth hormone substitution in human disease conditions, in particular because GHRPs are now a recognised problem in doping, methods for the detection have therefore been established and are being applied e.g. to nutritional supplements. Accuracy[edit]

I've added a couple of tags to the article. From what I can tell, the referencing doesn't meet the requirements of WP:MEDRS and primary pieces of research are being presented as fact, when they may not be correct. SmartSE (talk) 13:46, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, I have removed the last paragraph in the lede which made some very confusing general statement far beyond the subject, and was also unsourced. I do notice that this acticle has been sitting without significant care and feeding for a very long time. Probably not to be considered much more than a stub at this point.
