Listed status[edit]

There are probably thousands of WP articles about English buildings which describe them as listed buildings without expanding further. I don't believe that we need to explain it here. I've done what I often do in disagreements over style - looked for a featured article. The first one I found under the "Art, Archtecture etc" section of Wikipedia:Featured articles is Bramshill House, where the lead paragraph includes: "The house was designated a Grade I listed building in 1952." If it's good enough for a Featured Article, it's good enough for me. Please don't replace the explanation of what Grade II* means. Thanks. PamD 14:13, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
