Currently, the references for this section rely almost exclusively on details from only 2 articles by one columnist at one news outlet (i.e. those two articles are cited multiple times in the section with no other 3rd party verification). Given the situation covered is controversial, more reliable, verifiable, and objective sources are needed to improve this section's accuracy.

The Board of Directors of the Fraser Academy Association consists of Brenda Jones Kinsella, Chair; Rod Johnston, Vice Chair; David Sacks, Secretary/Treasurer; Jeff Hornell; Wendy Reifel, Bursaries Committee; Mark Hammer; Debby Jenkins; Michelle Hughes.^[1]

Additional programs[edit]

Fraser Academy offers after school tutoring program, called After3 Tutoring at Fraser Academy and Summer Boost Camp, an academic, yet fun, summer camp that gives children a "boost" in their learning. Registration for After3 Tutoring programs are open to students who do not attend the day program, but require remediation for specific learning difficulties. In addition to 1:1 Orton-Gillingham and Remedial Math tutoring, Fraser Academy started offering Executive Function (EF) coaching in September 2018. EF Coaching helps students who require support in organization, time management, planning and prioritizing, developing working memory and metacognitive strategies. It is offered to both school-aged, and university-aged students.^[2]

Over 90% of Fraser Academy graduates go on to college and university, attending post-secondary institutions across Canada, and in the United States and United Kingdom. The 35 student Grad Class of 2018 had 121 post-secondary acceptances and over $65,000 in scholarship offers.

Controversy section is inaccurate and biased. The two articles referenced are from one columnist and are unproportionately represented.

"Controversy" section[edit]

I've removed this section. Christie Blatchford is an opinion writer/columnist at the National Post, not a reporter; it is contrary to our practices to base a quarter of any article on opinion pieces. The reference sources are all Canadian-based, not "international", as is said in this section. All of the people quoted in Blatchford's piece (as well as the article) were terminated employees.
