Merge infoboxes[edit]

The current leading infobox is a "generic" infobox, which has a nice appearance and which someone created from scratch to complement the article. I added 2 NRHP infoboxes that are relevant. Given that the NRHP infobox could be used for the same summary purpose as the generic one, including holding its very nice map, I guess I want to merge them and use an expanded NRHP infobox instead. Does anyone watching this article have an opinion on this? doncram (talk) 20:31, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sources and content[edit]

This article varied greatly from associated articles on Nathaniel Jarvis Wyeth and Hall J. Kelley in Wikipedia, with unsourced assertions that Wyeth was a mountain man who arranged investors in Boston. Wyeth was a Boston businessman who arranged an expedition to the West. The three articles should be consistent, and better sources need to be reviewed to get the story straight.Parkwells (talk) 01:06, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In addition to the above, this article has a few other problems regarding sources and content too. Most of the facts presented in the article are not backed up by reliable secondary sources of information, nor sources at all. For example, there is only one citation in all of the leading section. Many unsubstantiated claims are made that need to be sourced and confirmed or edited like "Fort Hall is considered the most important trading post in the Snake River Valley." Second, several of the sources are not current and are, in fact, more than 10 years old. Also, one of the source links in a citation simply leads to results from a Google Books search for "fort hall". Though I realize that this page perhaps does not receive a lot of attention, I think the quality and credibility of this page could be greatly improved with a lot more citations from reliable sources. Any information that can't be properly cited needs to be revised or removed. Just my evaluation.AshlynkD (talk) 22:36, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
