History[edit]

In the course of time I'll be happy to add information from books in my personal library about The Battle of Fort Donelson, Fort Henry, and The Battle of Dover. BTW: President Bush signed a Bill into Law in early 2005 to expand the boundaries of Fort Donelson from 551.69 acres up too a maximum of 2,000 acres total. --Bumpusmills1 02:48, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

State border[edit]

The local population in western Kentucky was pro-Confederate. Kentucky's westernmost (First) congressional district elected a secessionist and Lincoln proclaimed it to be in rebellion.

This statement is hard to relate to the rest of the story. The infobox states that part of the Battlefield was in Calloway County, Kentucky. Was this in the First Congressional District? Valetude (talk) 16:46, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
