I have a photo of Ford Field that I've uploaded here (Image:FordField.jpg), but for some reason I can't get it to appear on the page. Can anyone fix this? Funnyhat 02:02, 30 August 2005 (UTC)

Comerica & Ford Field

The section which said the two were built together was amnded to correctly state they were planned together, but opened several years apart.--Mikerussell 02:17, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

Carbon Neutral event

Just curious as to why my addition regarding the carbon neutral game was removed - (the entry is quoted below), I feel that this is a legitimate entry and I even included sources (more are available). Granted the event was probably done more for publicity but I still feel it deserves a mention on the page.

Ford Field was the first NFL stadium to host a 100 percent carbon-neutral game when the Lions faced the NFC North rival Green Bay in the 68th annual Thanksgiving game held on November 22nd, 2007

So I found out that the (nn) on the history page means "not notable", I think this is a notable event for the arena as it is a first for the NFL. Link to press release also a quick google search shows multiple news sources picking up the story - so if I interpreting correctly I think it satisfies the wikipedias notability guidelines.

Maybe the entry would fit better in a Trivia section for the arena? but hey I am open for discussion,

Tenants

Listing the Buffalo Bills as a tenant isn't appropriate since the game was clearly a temporary, one-time setup due to extraordinary circumstances. The same is true for the Minnesota Vikings who also played a "home" game at Ford Field. In turn, listing the New Orleans Saints as a tenant of Giants Stadium is equally inappropriate for the same reasons. A tenant is a team or organization that has an established presence in a facility, meaning they have some kind of say over day-to-day operations and any physical changes that are made to the building. At the very least there is some branding in the facility (team logos). If you list Buffalo, then you also have to list Minnesota and every college football and basketball team that has played in the building as the "home" team (which includes all "home" teams in the MAC Championship game and the bowl games the stadium has hosted, as well as the NCAA basketball Final Four), and suddenly the infobox becomes ridiculously long. --JonRidinger (talk) 13:33, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
