Merge proposal removal[edit]
This had been up for six months and had generated little consensus for a move (2/1), so I have removed the banner - I strongly believe this car is worthy of its own article, given that the American Mercury Cougar is a long running brand in the US and redirects cannot go to individual sections. The Cougar is based on a European Ford Mondeo chassis, anyway. Bob 13:41, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
New merge proposal[edit]
One generation of Mercury Cougar being sold in Europe with a Ford badge is worthy of one paragraph in the Mercury article at best. Let's see if we can get some consensus this time. IFCAR 18:40, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
