Missing QCSA Info/references[edit]

I know this is not much more than a stub, but it is sadly lacking in reference to the Qld Christian Soccer Association (QCSA). It is inaccurate to call FQ "The" governing body for football in Queensland. It is "a" governing body. It is even "The" governing body affiliated with FFA, but it is not the only governing body in QLD. The QCSA was formed in 1969/70, operates in the greater Brisbane area, and is almost as large as "Federation" football in this region. The Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Assocation is another body, operating at the Sunshine Coast. QCSA and SCSA affiliate with each other. It is worth noting this quirk in the history of football in Queensland. QCSA, SCSA and FQ all run healthy competitions, and players are known to switch between "Federation" and "Association", although dual concurrent registration is not generally accepted.

QCSA hold an annual "State Titles", so the statement about FQ being the only body with a state competition is also inaccurate. SCSA have also commenced an annual 'Sunshine Coast Challenge'.

I will work on an article for QCSA, and cross reference between that one and this one. I think that the differentiation should be noted in Football_in_Queensland. I will be modifying the entry for football (soccer) to include FQ, QCSA and SCSA.LowKey 02:54, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The constitution which has been adopted By FQ only allows registered clubs to nominate persons to Zone Officials. The original constitution put forward by FFA recommended that all registered players over the age of 18 and parents of players under the age of 18 should be involved. Nothing will change to move the game forward until this happens. The game is controlled by ceratin people in certain clubs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.222.109.70 (talk) 01:34, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
