Previous assistance programs[edit]

We have to get sources to say:(especially to say they are similar, I do not know of a program as abragent as the Fome Zero)

Fome Zero is the biggest initiative from the Brazilian government to combat hunger in the history of the country, but similar assistance programs have been implanted in previous governments.

I am also looking for the budget of the previous programs and of Fome Zero. Chico 19:41, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK. Let's remove the word "similar". Please, check the following link:

According to Lula, the Fome Zero is the biggest initiative from the Brazilian government to combat hunger in the history of the country (obviously Lula's opinion is not neutral, but we can mention his opinion in the article, anyway)

Hope that helps. --Carioca 22:03, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Criticism[edit]

Those criticism are a bit old already (2001 and 2005). After 8 or 4 years, if the criticism is not repeated, it's because the problems don't exist anymore. I think the section should be removed. --ClaudioMB (talk) 20:34, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
