Sections and Introductory Sentence[edit]

Hi!

I separated the Novel plot, structure, and style section into three separate sections to make it more organized and easier to find information. The last sentence of the introduction is a bit confusing, so I'm thinking of editing that later on.

Thank you for separating those sections - that's a very nice improvement!
Re: the last sentence of the intro: it refers to the "hypertext canon" as asserted by critic Astrid Ensslin as documented with the footnote reference.
About the commas: looks like you or someone has gone a little overboard inserting commas. Would you mind deleting the following extraneous commas:
- 1st paragraph after "2001"
- 2nd paragraph after "1996," after "entitled," and after "Grain's"
Thanks much. Richard Holeton (talk) 16:26, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, will do! Thank you for telling me! With the last sentence I think its the structure of it that I want to change. I think it could flow a bit better. Again, thank you!

Terrific, and thanks again for your interest and effort on this page!
It would be great at some point for someone to add a mention of the radio play adaptation of Figurski by Re-Imagined Radio and a listing of the exhibitions and performances and media appearances of the novel. The new landing page gives viewers a choice to read or listen to the radio play. Richard Holeton (talk) 16:04, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! I was also thinking of adding information about the adaptation in Re-imagined Radio. Where do you think that information should go in? Should I add a new section for media appearances and exhibition and performances?

Cool . . . this is really up to you as an editor. You can get more info about the radio adaptation from the Re-Imagined Radio site and/or by talking to John Barber at WSU-Vancouver. I could envision it being mentioned in the intro and maybe also having its own short section, since it's a unique artifact in hypertext lit, and John Barber's work is also significant. Likewise I could see the exhibitions/performances of the novel as a separate section -- some of those might include Wikipedia links as well as external links (e.g. to conferences, org's, works of Dene Grigar's etc.). Thanks for thinking about this. Richard Holeton (talk) 16:51, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nov 18 2023 edit[edit]

Hi @LoveElectronicLiterature thanks for edit but wonder if you could fix typo introduced (the Bell reference is in the text of the article instead of only in the footnote) . . . cheers! -- RH Richard Holeton (talk) 18:25, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
