2024 January edits[edit]

It appears that someone/s associated with the museum have edited. Some citations are a little shaky - citing materials published by the museum itself. In one case they cited a museum volunteer as editor of a book that was actually already cited on the page to its actual editor (Beverly Carlson). I have not found replacement citations for the information based solely on Museum publications. I took away the Bold Headings as this is not a large article or a big museum and one sentence about something does not require a header. While I was requested to remove the COI tag by someone on my talk page, I do not feel comfortable doing that because the page still needs a lot of work and it is true, there is a COI here as stated on my talk page and in the edit summaries. I do not understand why someone would contact me and ask me to negate the truth. I live in the same town but have never volunteered at the Museum so I do not believe I have a conflict of interest. I am a bureaucrat and administrator on Commons.

I left a message on the user's talk page.[1] Cheers. Ellin Beltz (talk) 04:59, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
