Recent visit eyewitness report[edit]

Regarding the post office... I was recently in that area and the post office is now located "down the hill" from where the town used to be. It is now located on the same property with the Gold Flake Club- appears to be an addition to their building. Regarding what is where the town used to be. It is a privately run tree or lumber farm...no I didn't get the name of the company. I went, last summer (2010) to see the house I grew up in and there is no trace of the town. I thought maybe I could at least see the land where my house was but all the little streets are gone too. They aren't just dilapidated, there is no trace of them. I don't have any fact, just what I saw. The school is there, the post office is moved, the church is moved, the community hall is gone... There is not even a foundation where the post office used to be. I wonder why the town was demolished it will be missed!FeatherFalls Kid (talk) 17:55, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
