WikiProject Theatre Assessment[edit]

  • Stub class - Formatting changes needed to conform with Wikipedia:WikiProject_Theatre/Article_Structure guidelines. Synopsis and History are present, but InfoBox (Play), History, and Production and Reception info is missing.
  • Low importance - a single play constitutes a "highly specific area of knowledge"

NPOV issue[edit]

It hardly seems NPOV to assert in the intro that the play "largely ignores the treatment of the Jewish population, except in the play's most famous scene "The Jewish Wife"." Besides not being neutral, the statement as currently worded is contradicted by information in the body of the article, which mentions other scenes about antisemitism. However, if there are published reviews/critiques of Brecht's play which argue that it says too little about treatment of Jews, then certainly the point can be included, as the POV of that reviewer.
