development[edit]

This article was just now started in a semi-automated way, and could use more attention, perhaps including use of sources that might be found online. Please help develop using sources in the article already, and please try Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL. --doncram (talk) 14:52, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article includes 2 good sources. It includes one good four sentence quote which explains context well. An editor who follows my edits and disagrees with me frequently has removed the quote and I restored it. The other editor has confused plagiarism and copyright issues before, and I do not accept his judgment that the quote is inappropriate. It is fully credited, so plagiarism cannot be asserted to be an issue. It is four sentences, still a short enough quote to qualify under fair use, copyright-wise. I think it is fine and good to use the good writing in the quote, with credit to its authors. --doncram 14:09, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It's also longer than the rest of the article put together -- that's too much. Don't use a straight quote from the source if there's no historic reason to see the exact wording. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 14:18, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
