Another MTG copy cat[edit]

How about improving the article? Has Hasbro owners of Wizards or Garfield MTG Patent holder taken any legal action as the game has several components that are detailed int he patent. Shouldnt it be noted in the article where it gets comes from, how its a copy of previous games? Masem its great how you destroy this discussion on improving the topic, Why Did you do that Masem? --TobyWongly (talk) 02:37, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You need sources to make this claim, and I have never heard of any action that has been taken against this game to that regard. Without any sources, there's nothing to discuss. --MASEM (t) 02:43, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Im just making suggestion of how to improve the article! Your personal incredulity is fabulous, but it does contain several things that are covered in the MTG Patent! Hence the question.— Preceding unsigned comment added by TobyWongly (talkcontribs)

You've cited no professionally-published mainstream academic or journalistic sources to support your claims -- which is your responsibility. Therefore, your claims are just your opinion, which we don't care about. Ian.thomson (talk) 04:04, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Also, we do avoid trying to make any legal claims we have no authority over; trying to ask us to include this might be seen as making a legal threat (might being the key word) which can be a blockable offense. If there are legitimate legal issues over MTG's patents on this game, we need sources. (Be aware, in the US gameplay itself can't be copyrighted, see Video game clone for info on that, though I know if the patent's involved, that could be something different, but again, we are not supposed to act as legal experts.) --MASEM (t) 04:13, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
