Is this from some source or just some editor's opinion?

It's actually the faction philosophy which is somewhat oversimplified here. The Fated really do believe in selfishness - as in "taking care of one's own interests". They also view charity as corrupting and inefficient. They do, however, disagree how to apply this philosophy. The official faction line rejects crime and tries to promote honest work (though, of course, some members view it as weakness). Gantolandon (talk) 21:10, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
