'Estate' vs. 'Township'[edit]

A few recent edits have sought to change mention of the term 'estate' to 'township'.

Township is not a word used in an Australian context, that I can find anyway. The common terminology is instead 'estate' (as in a 'land estate') - e.g. on this property developer's website.

I think this needs to be discussed further before the terminology is changed from the standard term of 'estate'. Thanks. Takerlamar (talk) 20:41, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
