Hi, I added the tag after seeing a comment by Keizers, which I linked in a message I left on their talkpage here Soyembika (talk) 08:54, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Keizers Hi, I am pinging you about the content you are continuing to add to this article, like the eyebrow incident, the blog post you have summarized again (which now has a broken link), the redirect you made at Eyebrow Incident, and why you are reverting content that was removed by a different editor, without engaging at the talk page at all?
The content you added back still have many of the WP:OR issues from earlier, and you have editorialized the photo you uploaded for the section. also please see Wikipedia:Large language models#Usage if you are still using a LLM to assist you. Soyembika (talk) 15:48, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Soyembika, thank you for your message. Your points one by one:
  • I left the "undid revision" in the edit summary, but in fact, just started by undo-ing so that I could edit by hand the text that was lost. Apologies that that confused you and left you thinking I "simply reverted".
  • I have put back and completely rewritten and reduced the size of content from the criticism of the performance of Levy, and consolidated it with another source as well.
  • This is NOT now original research. There are two sources which describe reported behaviour. Now, it contains observations only, not "reporting the report" but simply describing, drawing on two quite different sources.
  • I changed the Eyebrow Incident (as if that were its name) to "an eyebrow incident", as the press has also referred to it, lowercase, and that was very clear in the edit summary
  • If the edit summary is clear enough, there is not a reason to go to the talk page. If the other editor wishes to engage there, I will engage there. This content is not truly contentious.
  • I will report LLM where I use it, the content that I put in in my own recent edit was fully re-written myself with considerable effort.
  • Describing the photo as an eyebrow incident is not editorializing, the photo is ONLY there to illustrate what happened that was newsworthy, which WAS the raising of his eyebrows, per se. I'm not trying to make a funny comment, or judge him for his eyebrow stance. I'm illustrating what WAS the news, which incidentally went viral and changed the entire role of Levy in popular culture to some sort of celebrity, and for more than 15 minutes of fame. @Keizers I appreciate you responding, I know I gave you a lot to read and I do appreciate you taking the time.
I do not agree with you regarding the notability of his eyebrows, at all. Or that the eyebrow incident changed his public perception so much that is turned him into an 'icon of war recognized by many around the world.' I have seen no RS showing this- a description and name you give an image does not make it a primary source, and the use of a tweet by Levy further shows the quality of source you're pulling from for this.

The quoted tweet where Eylon jokes about his eyebrows being tired is just funny to include, but not important and I don't think I can find a RS for that. It is not linked to the major premise of the paragraph which is that the eyebrow incident made him go viral. I find this kind of slightly unencyclopedic trivia in limited amounts enjoyable and it certainly is plentiful across Wikipedia, but if you are a stickler, you or I can remove it.Keizers (talk) 19:39, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Haaretz reports that he has been suspended:

Minor correction[edit]

Extended-confirmed-protected edit request on 20 March 2024[edit]

Change paragraph 2 from "who currently serves as official Israeli government spokesman, and has been serving in that capacity since the start of 2023 Israel–Hamas war.[2][3]" to "Served as official israeli government spokesman during the 2023 israel offensive in gaza until 20/03/24, when he was suspended following complaints of false claims by UK governement ministers and MPs."

Mental Health[edit]

Continuing to fill these pages with bickering and snippets of what or what not Levy may have said is not helpful to what appears to be an individuals with a declining mental health situation and a lose grasp on reality.

Can moderators restrict coment to protect or defend his dignity a little.
