I am glad to report that this article nomination for good article status has been promoted. This is how the article, as of February 25, 2009, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: Written in clear and understandable wording. Passes here.
2. Factually accurate?: Duly cited throughout.
3. Broad in coverage?: Covers major aspects of topic - I like the Reception section.
4. Neutral point of view?: Written in neutral tone.
5. Article stability? Article is stable going back a ways, and no apparent conflict on talk page.
6. Images?: One image from Wikimedia Commons, the other is fair-use cover and has approp rationale on image page.
