Mastering[edit]

How can an album not be mastered at all?! If it's available in any medium then it has been mastered, as per http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mastering. --Henre (talk) 09:35, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It says in the cd booklet that it was mastered. Maybe some one has a misconception? I think I removed that once and some one put it back, but memory fails me... Maybe I didn't. idk... Mr bouregaurd (talk) 03:16, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The quote from the CD lyric booklet is:

This album was recorded live in a studio setting and no computers were used in the manipulation of our music. Everything that you hear was played by human beings, and was not copy/pasted by computers. That is why it sounds a little raw and uncoventional. Technology is a convenience, and it is okay to be used in moderation, but for the sake of the lost authentic sound of rock and roll, we decided to go the route of our forefathers and get it all in one take as best as we could. We believe that sweat and practice should persevere over the convenience of a computer. We believe that although this album may not be one hundred percent tight and perfect in every way (like you are used to) it will be authentic, and therefore understood. At least that is our hope. Thank you for your grace. Thank you for your support. We hope this album brings joy to your heart. -The Chariot

So it was recorded live, while The Chariot played, by Matt Goldman, and then Troy Glessner made the master copy from that recording, and all of our released copies are derived from the master copy, which is an un- (or mininally) -edited live recording of the band playing. Album artwork[edit]

Hello, I was unsure about the artwork for this album. Originally, the artwork was different and looked like what is pictured to the right:

This link (http://darkmp3.ru/imgs/7753238-460x460/everything-is-alive-everything-is-breathing-nothing-is-dead-and-nothing-is-bleeding.jpg), and another thumbnail (http://deepmp3.ru/images/912473-150x150/everything-is-alive-everything-is-breathing-nothing-is-dead-and-nothing-is-bleeding.jpg), are the only two versions of the old artwork that I can find anywhere on the web. (Luckily, I had saved a copy to my computer from a while back). I also recall seeing the original artwork on this wikipedia page possibly back in 2007 or 2008. I also recall reading on this talk page several years later something about the copyright for the artwork not being valid because the woman pictured behind the hat did not agree to have her picture taken, so the band had to change the artwork, hence the new artwork. However, I can find nothing about the old artwork on either the Article or Talk Page history and since there are only two pictures on the entire internet, I am feeling like I am crazy. It's as if almost all reference to it and nearly all images of it were abolished. Can anyone else verify that the old artwork used to exist, or what happened to it?

Also, the original artwork had a slightly different title: Everything's Alive, Everything's Breathing, Nothing Is Dead, Nothing Is Bleeding ('s versus is, and the omission of and) Joshuajohnson555 (talk) 02:01, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
