The history section[edit]

One or more editors continue to try and restore the history section which is in violation of Wikipedia:Copyright problems. This material cannot be added. Even trying to reword this is problematic as the school/district website is not a strong source per the reliable sources policy. In the absence of reliable sources, the material is in violation of wikipedia's policy on verifiability. Please stop adding this material unless it can be supported by neutral third party sources. Notable alumni[edit]

Per the criteria established by WP:WikiProject Schools, in order for an alum to be included in a listing of notable alumni in a school article, the alumnus should either have an article written about them, or should be eligible to have an article written about them (see: Wikipedia's policy on notability. While there are some exceptions (for example, a member of a notable band could be a notable alum, even if the musician does not have their own article). In any event, alumni must be verified by third party, neutral reliable sources confirming that the person is in fact an alumnus of the school. Please do not add persons who are not eligible to be included as notable alumni. LonelyBeacon (talk) 02:35, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
