Old history section[edit]

This section will need just more than a prose of what the table shows. Plus, it is also out of date. Some general rewrite ideas:

History[edit]

On June 21, 2008, the first European riichi mahjong championship was held in Hannover, Germany for 2 days. Thomas Kragh from Denmark won the championship. Benjamin Boas reached the 2nd place.^[1]

On July 10, 2010, the second riichi championship was held in Hannover, Germany again^[2]^[3]
