Options exchange[edit]

Does anyone know the following: ... Did the Amsterdam Options Exchange, did it list options available on underlying securities and indices in the USA at like the Nasdaq and NYSE prior to the CBOE's opening in the 1970s?? Yes or No? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.91.219.76 (talk) 02:16, 27 October 2007

I don't know. You could try the Wikipedia:Reference desk. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 15:53, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article says this is the oldest stock exchange in the world[edit]

This article says that Amsterdam Stock Exchange is the oldest, but the Hamburg Stock exchange seems more than 40 years older.

Even in this list, it appears to be the third, after Hamburg and Frankfurt. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Orestes1986 (talkcontribs) 05:58, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
