Copyright problem removed[edit]

Prior content in this article duplicated one or more previously published sources. The material was copied from: https://tools.wmflabs.org/copyvios?lang=en&project=wikipedia&oldid=933006981&action=search&use_engine=1&use_links=1. Copied or closely paraphrased material has been rewritten or removed and must not be restored, unless it is duly released under a compatible license. (For more information, please see "using copyrighted works from others" if you are not the copyright holder of this material, or "donating copyrighted materials" if you are.)

For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or published material; such additions will be deleted. Contributors may use copyrighted publications as a source of information, and, if allowed under fair use, may copy sentences and phrases, provided they are included in quotation marks and referenced properly. The material may also be rewritten, providing it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Therefore, such paraphrased portions must provide their source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with these policies. Thank you. 💴Money💶💵emoji💷Talk💸Help out at CCI! 12:28, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • As far as I can tell, this is a false positive; the comparison is essentially to itself. Bizarre. Removing the hatnote without any redaction of versions. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 02:46, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ceyockey, this is very strange. I explicitly remember the plot summary being copied from a blacklisted spam website (which is why I linked to earwig; that should have shown the violation) but the earwig link no longer shows that website, and I can’t find it through web searches. I think it died? Imagine the chances of that. It is certainly a copyright violation of something, since all the other plot summaries the user inserted were. 💵Money💵emoji💵Talk💸Help out at CCI! 03:03, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Money emoji OK. I'm going to do the redaction based on trusting your observation. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 03:52, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
