Medium importance to Orwell scholars and feminist historians[edit]

Where but Wiki can the ten thousand Orwell scholars puzzling over his comments about Ethel M. Dell (in an fine novel and much read passages on English reading habits) find enlightenment? Having read this article, I'm eager to read Dell now. Ruskin said, "Tell me what you like and I'll tell you what you are." From 1911 to 1939, what British women liked was Ethel M. Dell. It should be as revealing as studying Peyton Place has been about the Fifties and Valley of the Dolls about the Sixties.Profhum (talk) 01:18, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
