Light Music Society[edit]

Just to avoid the confusion of any over-eager editors, the identical composer biographies at the British Light Music Society website are actually copied from these light music composer pages on Wikipedia, not the other way. These have been here since March 2006 Rob (talk) 19:33, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The trouble is, that the text is also largely identical - with a few additions over the years - to his daughter Hilary Ashton's 1994 biography in the notes to the Marco Polo CD 8.223513. Fantasia on Auld Lang Syne[edit]

I have removed this section about "Fantasia on Auld Lang Syne", as it gives an undue weight to a single arrangement, when the composer himself wrote a large number of original works. I'm afraid it also doesn't have any references, so there's no way of knowing if it's original research. Putting it here for reference:
