Re. merge proposal[edit]
A proposal to merge Erigeron strigosus into Erigeron annuus was made over two years ago. According to Global Compositae Checklist, Erigeron strigosus Muhl. ex Willd. is the accepted species name, while Erigeron annuus subsp. strigosus (Muhl. ex Willd.) Wagenitz is considered to be a synonym of Erigeron strigosus Muhl. ex Willd. var. strigosis. Since it appears that these articles should remain separate, I will remove the merge templates.
