Fair use rationale for Image:Eric Clapton cover.jpg[edit]

Image:Eric Clapton cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:12, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Different Mixes[edit]

I remember hearing about two different mixes. One being with horns {or more horns} and the other not, and some other slight differences. Do the two mixes presented here, as 2006 Deluxe Edition, relate to that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by NantucketNoon (talkcontribs) 06:50, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Need source for Stephen Stills lead guitar (solo on Let It Rain)[edit]

I do not have this album, but my vinyl copy of "Eric Clapton at His Best" (a compilation from two years later, 1972) contains several songs from this album. On my album, Stephen Stills is listed as being on guitar (but not vocals, which is all that was listed here in this article until I added guitar just now). To be clear, Stills is in the credits for the songs from the present album "Eric Clapton" only. Stills plays a single (lovely) solo in Let it Rain that starts at around 1:30 and is typical of him (very similar to his sound and approach on studio "Wooden Ships"). I have found him credited with this solo in several locations, but they are not good enough sources for me to feel justified in changing this article. Has anybody got a good reference for the Stills lead guitar? Clapton plays some great solos after Stills, let's give Stills his due.David Couch (talk) 21:14, 6 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong song credits[edit]

The credits in this article do not correspond neither to those on my CD version nor on the info provided by Discogs. According to the cover notes, Bonnie (and not Delaney) Bramlett co-wrote most of the songs, including Bottle of Red Wine. Delaney is only credited for producing and arranging the music.

I have now changed it accordingly. Aejsing (talk) 14:57, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
