Dividend swap?[edit]

If anyone felt so inclined, could they write a definition of dividend swap please?

Dividends[edit]

Perhaps it would be helpful to comment on how equity swaps can interact with stock voting rights, esp. with the recent news regardign "empty voting"

Don't merge[edit]

Stock swap and Equity swap are two different concepts, the articles should not be merged. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hyphy1380 (talkcontribs) 23:43, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Third Party Listings On Foreign Exchanges[edit]

Most TSX Venture Exchange listings in penny stocks have third party listing on the Berlin Exchange, even though the company did not intend any listing whatsoever. I believe this is to facilitate equity swaps positions on companies likely to fail, since they have no revenue. Some companies have endeavoured to remove these listings, even so far as to spend legal fees to go about having them delisted from foreign exchanges.

Often times, the listing is a number, but other times they carry a stock trading symbol. A stock listing in Canada may be searched using Reuters, which will list all trading symbols domestic and foreign.

Thanks[edit]

Just my 2¢. Many thanks for the article, this will help me along. Fran Six (talk) 03:09, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
