This article should be deleted[edit]

Wikipedia is not a website for self-promotion. This is a page that was written by Dr. Fazzini. I did some editing to remove blatant self-promotion and claims that lack citations (e.g., treating the Pope), but Dr. Fazzini is far from a notable figure and this page should not exist. It is a marketing ploy, not helpful to information-seeking Wikipedia readers.

Controversies[edit]

Dr. Fazzini has been subject of controversies, discussions of competence, and questions over ethical behavior. In terms of ethics, he devotes much of his effort and time not to patient care or academic activities, but medico-legal cases, for personal financial gain. For example, after a relatively low number of peer-reviewed publications prior to 2012, he effectively ceased all academic work and devoted most of his time to medico-legal work, as evidenced by not being an author or co-author on a single peer-reviewed publication since 2012 ^[1]. Another reference below, ^[2], is not available - if he remained affiliated with NYU (as an adjunct, for example) the school probably determined that maintaining a web page with Dr. Fazzini's information was not in the school's best interest. Also, a Google search of his name nets a variety of 3rd party websites, such as Facebook ^[3], where he has a single 1-star rating.

He is currently most famous, not for the aforementioned lack of academic affiliation or complete lack of academic production since 2012, but for his videotaped medico-legal expert testimony while inebriated ^[4]. Also see ^[5]

While his ability to self-promote (for the sake of higher expert honoraria) is remarkable - most true Parkinson's experts with far more academic production and present day significance in their field don't have a Wikipedia page nor do they brag about their famous patients - it does not reflect well on Wikipedia or the field of actual Parkinson's experts to have this page up in its present form. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zozika1 (talk • contribs) 16:27, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
