San Angelo Central high-school district is incorrect[edit]

San Angelo Central High School was not in "the highly competitive District 3-4A" during Bellard's time as coach there; it was District 2-4A during those years. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ulyssesmsu (talkcontribs) 11:15, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Be bold and fix it. But please provide a source as well. --bender235 (talk) 20:36, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comment[edit]

He was riding high at Mississippi State in 1980 and 1981, but the program went downhill fast. By the time he left, they were selling bumper stickers and T-shirts around Starkville with the message, "Make Emory a Memory." That was unfortunate because he gave his heart and soul for the program. To be truthful, though, he made a lot of game management mistakes. It seemed like the offensive game plan would degenerate into "three runs up the middle and punt" for long stretches of the game. 152.133.13.2 (talk) 21:09, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is not the place to sign the condolences book. --bender235 (talk) 21:12, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That comment hardly sounds like condolences. It is more of an indictment of his coaching skill at Mississippi State and goes a long way toward explaining why MSU was his last college-level coaching job. 99.0.37.134 (talk) 02:45, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
