Nationality[edit]

Is there any particular reason the lead made no mention of the subject's nationality? It just seems odd that the article's lead said she's of Albanian ancestry but said nothing of her being of American/Montenegrin nationality, so I added it.  Mbinebri  talk ← 14:52, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

She very likely doesn't have Montenegrin nationality. The sources give very little information here, only that she lived in Montenegro for 13 years (1988-2001) covering her age of four to 17. All that times it was Yugoslavia: SFRY 1988-92, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia 1992-2001 in her lifetime.
And at no time during this period was the official or national language ever referred to by anyone as Montenegrin except for User:Zetatrans who is keen to push that myth. Staro Gusle (talk) 07:27, 6 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
OK Serbo-Croat, but not Serbian alone. Thx. Zetatrans (talk) 09:42, 6 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
