Synonymy of Ornithomimus elegans with Chirostenotes[edit]

Sues (1997) demonstrated that Ornithomimus elegans Parks, 1933 is a junior synonym of Chirostenotes. Therefore, remove Elmisaurus elegans from the Elmisaurus page and place it in synonymy with Chirostenotes.

Good enough for me, as long as there are no more recent publications that still argue for placement in Elmisaurus.Dinoguy2 00:00, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

By a single source, we need to wait a few years to judge if there is any agreement from other researchers. FunkMonk (talk) 03:26, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed with FunkMonk, we need consensus to act. There is not a consensus to lump. IJReid {{T - C - D - R}} 23:57, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
