Article needs expansion[edit]

I'm planning on expanding this article using the Russian wikipedia (via Google Translate) and using the airport's English website pkc.aero/en/about/history/ and http://pkc.aero/en/about/news/?type=archive

On July 1, 1998, the regiment became part of the newly formed OKVS Aviation (and reassigned to the Russian Navy). However, due to the extremely low serviceability of the aircraft fleet in the period 2003-2006, the flight crew maintained skills in the 444th PPI of the Navy in Ostrov on training L-39, the youth of the regiment underwent theoretical training in the 148th PPI and PLS in Sevastleyk, and practical training was directly in the regiment.

Since April 1, 2009, the regiment from the structure of the Navy was planned to be transferred to the 3rd command of the Russian Air Force, however, due to the poor serviceability of the fleet, the regiment was not transferred. From December 1, 2009, the 865th IAP was to be reorganized into a fighter squadron formed by the 7060th AvB MA Pacific Fleet. March 12, 2010 the regiment said goodbye to its Battle Banner. In April 2011, the fighter-interceptor squadron of the 7060th AvB was reassigned to the command of the Air Defense Forces, without changing its location, and it also remained on support and supply from the Navy.

In 2009, on the basis of the regiment and support units, the 7060th air base of naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet was formed.
