Her occupation and death[edit]

Hi, I just want to let you know that it should be noted that how she died was by "death by firearm" and that she actually was a military soldier who fought in World War 2 and died in battle. Were the NAZIs actually so desperate for soldiers that they were using 89 year old women to fight a war that hadn't even started yet? She died in 1935 at age 89. Thats a full four years before the invasion of poland. Brentt 02:54, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Underestimated woman[edit]

She played a very underestimated role in the upcoming of national socialism. She should really be regarded as the "mother" of national socialism, and even falsifying many scribbles and notes from Nietzsche without even asking him to publish them. It's therefore wrong even today that "The Will To Power" is attributed to Nietzsche! Or would you publish a book with all your thoughts you ever had? Nietsche did write all his thoughts down, and they were obused to create "The Will To Power". And let's not forget that even Hitler himself saw Förster-Nietsche as the grand-lady of his crazy ideology, also because she was very active in propagating her sick ideas! Hitler was also clearly using some Nietzsche rhetorics in his speaches. That's unfortunate, because Nietzsche wanted to do good, wanted to inform and improve the people, wanted to critizise the wrong-doers and warlords. But finally national socialism grew like a cancer out of her sisters brain. I'm not claiming that she was capable of understanding what she's really doing and what the consequences of her doing will be. She wasn't that smart, and she died before the war. For those who can understand German or French: a couple of years ago, the German network ARD aired a biography about Friedrich Nietzsche, under the title "Wahnsinn! Nietzsche!", directed by Hedwig Schmutte. It is currently still on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjblnNJyxio The French version is also available: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCfnv99wEfg. It gives us some idea of Nietzsche’s ruthless sister “Llama” Elisabeth, who systematically distorted her brother's whole oeuvre and private correspondence. Friedrich Nietzsche not Anti-Jewish[edit]

This article states in the lead "She reworked his unpublished writings to fit her own ideology, often in ways contrary to her brother's stated opinions, which were strongly and explicitly opposed to antisemitism and nationalism." with no citation. I agree that Nietzsche was not a nationalist, but I don't agree he opposed Anti-Judaism. I've seen quotations from his writings that were Anti-Jewish. Hannah Newman in The Rainbow Swastika:A Report to Jews on New Age Anti-Judaism wrote [begin quote] Nietzsche likewise considered the Christian Bible nearly worthless because of its Jewish origin: "In Christianity, seen as the art of sacred lying, we're back with Judaism.... The Christian is but a Jew of more liberal persuasion." (_Antichrist_, quoted in Angeberts, p.126) [end quote] [1] Newman is fringe so we cannot use her a source in the article itself but I did a google books search after reading what Newman wrote and I saw the quote in google books preview editions of Nietzsche's The Anti-Christ so Newman was correct in this case. I've also seen other Anti-Jewish quotes from his writings. So I think that unsourced statement in the lead should be removed or changed. RandomScholar30 (talk) 18:31, 31 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
