Dates[edit]

Dates differ from Find-A-Grave. Lincher 22:03, 11 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The New Grove Dictionary of Opera gives 1916-1990. I will correct the entry. Kleinzach 22:11, 11 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have corrected the birth date to 1916. If anyone has information supporting a different date please give it here. Otherwise we should follow the Grove/Bernheimer date. - Kleinzach 19:01, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The Oxford Dictionary of Opera has 1914. --GuillaumeTell 17:27, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I did not use official or proper citation for discography and other book resources. Anyone should feel free to place the information in a proper format. --Mphamilton 19:28, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Eleanor Steber.[edit]

The Strauss Four Last Songs performance noted around paragraph five was performed in Cleveland, JAmes Levine conducted, but the orchestra was The University Circle Orchestra, the orchestra of the Cleveland Institute of Music, where Steber taught. A few Cleveland Orchestra musicians were in the performance, but this was the school orchestra. 2600:6C5E:447F:FD8B:A142:EF53:B6CA:25D0 (talk) 21:22, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
