Notability[edit]

The subject of the article is a historic district recognized by the City of San Diego and a notable architectural work. That should be enough criteria for notability, in addition to references from two extensive studies from prominent architecture schools.Keizers (talk) 11:50, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

As requested I took photos of the complex today. A lady who apparently resided there told me that "they did not like people taking pictures of their building". It is a free country, but 1) I found this an unreasonable request as I was standing in a public right-of-way and as we know it is perfectly legal to shoot pictures from the public street and 2) she lives in a historic monument and it is more than normal that people should take an interest in it. I would have some sympathy that the request was made for privacy reasons, except that at the time she made it, there was a shooting of a tv show or movie or modeling pictures going on, so obviously this is about the ability to profit from images taken at the complex. I am just noting this experience pre-emptively in case of any future conflict about the photos.Keizers (talk) 02:09, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nice photos, thanks. I wouldn't worry about it. If I'm questioned taking photos, I usually say I'm taking illustrations for an article. Cheers, Bovlb (talk) 14:43, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
