GA Review[edit]

Hi, I am reviewing this article for GA. It is a nice little article, clearly written. The one problem I have is that it does not follow WP:LEAD which is part of the GA criteria. I have done some minor copy editing of the article which is hopefully OK with you.

Your concerns are about the background info not being in the main body of the article right? Just as a note, that's how these articles have been written, Effects of Hurricane Isabel in North Carolina has the same format and is a featured article. That's fine. You might add a little more to the lead to cover other aspect of the article not mentioned there, such as preparations. The lead is supposed to be a concise summary of the article, so that anyone just reading the lead and not reading further will get the major points. —Mattisse (Talk) 20:58, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
